My Services

  • A funeral officiant works with families to create a personalized service tailored to the unique personality and preferences of the deceased. In this role, I will meet with the family to properly get to know you and the deceased; provide emotional and spiritual support throughout the process; coordinate and officiate the service; and ensure that your wishes are carried out so that the deceased is remembered and honored with dignity.

  • In the role of pet chaplain, I provide spiritual care and guidance to families as they navigate the challenges that come with making end-of-life decisions for their beloved pet. This can look like helping a family decide how they would like to spend their last days with their pet; accompanying the family to the vet's office or being present at the home for end-of-life care; providing emotional support before, during, and after the pet's death; and officiating the pet's funeral.

  • A private yoga class gives you a one-on-one experience tailored to your specific needs and goals in the comfort of your own home or via Zoom. Yoga complements well with the other services I offer, helping you care for yourself in a healthy, life-giving way.

  • Meeting with a spiritual director/companion either in-person or via Zoom can be a meaningful step to help you find wholeness and balance in life. It can also be useful to have a spiritual companion as you navigate periods of hardship, or, as I like to call it, "trudging through swamplands." In this role, I use intentional, compassionate conversation and deep listening so that you can better connect with your soul's desires and God (or The Universe, or whatever language you use to describe the mysterious).

FAQs

  • I believe everyone's financial situation is unique. Each service comes with a free 20-minute phone consultation where we will discuss pricing, deciding together on a fee that works with your budget.

  • I currently live in West Michigan and hope to work with clients also living in the West Michigan area. I am also available by Zoom and available to travel.

  • No and no. My education, training, and life experiences helped me realize not only am I here to serve all I encounter, but also it is vital for me to use the many life-giving resources from all the spiritual traditions available. Therefore, my personal beliefs and practices can best be described as "interspiritual."

Whether you consider yourself religious, not religious but spiritual, agnostic, atheist, or something in between, you are valued, and you and your beliefs will be treated with the respect and care each of us deserve.

  • In my eyes, there is none. "Spiritual director" is a title more people may be familiar with than "spiritual companion." No matter the title, the goal is the same: to accompany people on their spiritual/healing journeys using intentional, compassionate conversation and deep listening.
